  • The controller of personal data processing is SIA "ATAR" (unified registration No. 40003850212, legal address: "Gatves" 5, Madliena, Madliena parish, Ogre municipality, LV-5045, actual address: Visvalža street 7, Riga, LV-1050), which owns the online store "www.atarserviss.lv", hereinafter referred to as "ATAR".

2. Purpose of the Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy applies to ensuring privacy and personal data protection in relation to natural persons or data subjects (hereinafter referred to as Customers):

  • potential, former and current ATAR clients and buyers,

  • ATAR for visitors to stores, offices and other premises, including those under video surveillance;

4. Purposes of personal data processing:

ATAR processes personal data in accordance with the purposes (objectives) and legal grounds for data processing.

  • for the sale, rental and provision of commercial activities of goods;

  • for preparing a delivery note or invoice;
  • for the delivery of goods;
  • for the return or exchange of goods;
  • for a refund of the purchase price;
  • guarantees for the fulfillment of obligations;
  • for product improvement, development of new products;
  • for commercial purposes – advertising and distribution of goods;
  • for reviewing and processing customer complaints;
  • for customer retention;
  • to increase loyalty or to provide benefits (discounts) to regular customers;
  • for billing administration and reporting;
  • to maintain and improve the operation of the website and mobile applications;
  • business analysis and planning;
  • for the creation of statistics, improving the quality of the website and services;
  • creating content tailored to customers through advertising;
  • for the provision of information to state or local government institutions in the cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments.

5. Legal basis for processing personal data

The legal (legitimate) grounds for the processing of customer personal data by ATAR are as follows:

  • Customer application or order – to fulfill the Customer's order (purchase), to deliver the product to the Customer, return the product or money, exchange the product, review the Customer's complaint, fulfill warranty obligations, etc.;
  • for the implementation of regulatory enactments (laws) – to fulfill the obligations set out in regulatory enactments (laws) binding on ATAR;
  • Customer consent;
  • legitimate interests – to realize the legitimate interests of ATAR arising from regulatory enactments (laws) or from obligations existing between ATAR and the Client.

ATAR's legitimate interests are:

  • to carry out commercial activities;
  • to trade and lease goods;
  • ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations;
  • to store Customer reservations and applications for product purchases, other applications and submissions, notes about them, including those made verbally, by calling service phones, on the website;
  • analyze the operation of the ATAR online store, develop and implement improvements;
  • administer the Customer's account in the ATAR online store;
  • to take actions to retain customers;
  • segment the customer database for more effective sales of goods;
  • develop the product range;
  • advertise your goods by sending commercial communications;
  • send other messages regarding the progress of the order or obligation and conditions essential for its fulfillment;
  • provide financial and business accounting and analytics;
  • ensure and promote the efficiency of sales and delivery of goods;

  • to address state or local government institutions and courts to protect their legal interests, as well as for legal assistance;

6. Processing of personal data

  • ATAR processes personal data in accordance with the purposes (objectives) and legal grounds for data processing.
  • ATAR processes Client data using modern technological capabilities, taking into account existing privacy risks and ATAR's reasonably available organizational, financial and technical resources.
  • The Customer's refusal to provide ATAR with personal data that is mandatory for the performance of the specified actions creates obstacles for the Customer to receive, and ATAR to perform the specified actions, for example: buy/sell a product in the ATAR online store, order delivery of a product/deliver a product, return a product, receive/refund money for purchases, receive/assign loyalty points, etc.
  • In relation to the Client, ATAR may make automated decisions, i.e. decisions based solely on automated processing and carried out using technological means and without human intervention. The Client may object to automated decision-making; this may, in certain cases, limit the Client's ability to use or receive options available to him (for example, to request a return of the product and a refund of the purchase price).
  • For the high-quality and fast execution of Customer orders (reservations), ATAR may authorize third parties or its cooperation partners to perform certain product delivery activities, such as the delivery of leased goods, sending invoices, etc. If third parties or cooperation partners process the Customer's personal data held by ATAR to perform these tasks, the relevant third parties or cooperation partners are considered processors and ATAR has the right to transfer to them the Customer's personal data necessary for the execution of tasks to the extent necessary for the performance of specific activities.

7. Transfer of personal data to third parties and entities in third countries

ATAR does not disclose to third parties or transfer the Client's personal data or any other information about the Client for processing outside the European Union and the European Economic Area, except for:

  • if the data must be transferred to the relevant third party within the framework of a concluded contract in order to perform a function necessary for the performance of the contract or delegated by law (for example, to a bank - within the framework of settlements, or to provide a service, for example, to deliver a product by courier or parcel machine);

8. Protection of personal data

ATAR protects Customer data using modern technology capabilities, taking into account existing privacy risks and ATAR's reasonably available organizational, financial and technical resources, including using the following security measures:

  • Data encryption during data transmission (SSL encryption);
  • Intrusion protection and detection programs;
  • Other protective measures in accordance with current technical development capabilities.

9. Duration of storage of personal data

ATAR stores and processes the Client's personal data as long as one of the following grounds exists:

  • until ATAR or the Client can exercise their legal interests (for example, file objections or bring or bring a lawsuit in court) in accordance with the procedure specified in regulatory enactments (law);
  • as long as the ATAR exists, the obligation to retain data set out in regulatory enactments (law);
  • as long as the Client's consent to the relevant processing of personal data is valid, unless there is another lawful basis for data processing.
  • When the circumstances mentioned herein cease, the Customer's personal data is deleted.

10. Access to personal data and other Customer rights

The customer has the right:

  • receive information specified in regulatory enactments regarding the processing of his/her data. ATAR online store Customer information is posted and available in the private account www.atarserviss.lv/pirceja-profils, where the Customer can verify the accuracy of their data and correct it.
  • request access to your personal data from ATAR in accordance with regulatory enactments,
  • request ATAR to supplement, correct or delete personal data, or to restrict processing in relation to the Client,
  • object to processing (including processing of personal data based on ATAR's legitimate interests),
  • on data portability.

These rights are enforceable to the extent that the data processing does not result from ATAR's obligations imposed on it by applicable external laws and regulations and which are carried out in the public interest.

The customer may submit a request to exercise his/her rights:

  • in writing in person at the ATAR legal address, presenting an identity document;
  • by electronic mail, signing with a secure electronic signature;
